“In the end, it’s not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away”
– shing xiong
We all live a more or less controlled life and every moment of it, we just want to live a little more. All we have to take care of, is that at the end it just doesn’t matter anymore. No matter how much lengthy lives we live, all that matters is the quality of life we had!
“One day, you’re 17 and you’re planning for someday. And then quietly, without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And then someday is yesterday. And this is your life.”
~John Green
It took me not more than one minute to understand this quote but more than five to understand the beauty of life described in this quote! Most of the time in our lives, we look out, plan in advance and fantasize for that “someday”. It is undoubtedly one of the most powerful quotes I did ever come across! Self rule and free will are the keys to freedom and success. If you have to be ruled by someone, it’s better to let the person be yourself and not others. Be the command.
“Strange, isn’t it? Each man’s life touches so many other lives. When he isn’t around he leaves an awful hole, doesn’t he?”
~It’s a Wonderful Life
Yes, he does! No one is unimportant in this world. Everyone has strings attached to them and no matter however weak they may be, once the person leaves, it affects all the people attached to him.
“We all try to run away from our past. Some do that because its too painful, some do that because the sweet moments of their past are not with them anymore. Stop running, then you’ll feel the heartbeat of the present.”
“The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.”
~Leo Tolstoy
I don’t really know about the time but patience is definitely a very powerful warrior and I know this because of self-experience. Many people are talented and know what to do in a certain situation but very few have the patience to wait for the right time. And those who do so are sure shot winners.
“My name is Jordan Belfort. The year I turned 26, I made 49 million dollars, which really pissed me off because it was three shy of a million a week. ”
“When I get logical, and I don’t trust my instincts – that’s when I get in trouble.”
~Angelina Jolie
Well, this is not only the opinion of the most famous female celebrity of the world, but also a never ending debate of instincts v/s logic. In my opinion, there’s never a single answer. Most of the times logic may work, but not always.
